On November 8, the 37th China Chemical Olympics (finals) closed in Beijing. Wangzhizhen, vice chairman of the 11th CPPCC National Committee and academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences; Wanlijun, chairman of the Chinese Chemical Society and academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences; Wangxiqin, President of Tsinghua University, Liu Lei, head of the Department of chemistry of Tsinghua University, and others attended the closing ceremony. A total of 558 people participated in this finals, with 181 gold medals (the top 50 entered the national training team), 246 silver medals, 119 bronze medals and 12 winners.
